  1. This is V1.3 of PCROBOTS by P.D.Smith

  4. To unpack the archive use the PKUNZIP program - type 'pkunzip -d pcrob13'
  5. as several subdirectories are used.

  12. Alternatively, you can talk to him in the 'crobots' conference on
  13. CIX in the UK. Type 'join crobots' at the CIX 'Main:' prompt, and
  14. look in the 'pcrobots' topic. This topic will usually be read
  15. several times a day.
  16. To join CIX, call 081 390 1244 (up to 2400 baud) or 081 390 1255
  17. (up to V32bis/V42bis) with your modem and register online
  18. (2.40ukp/hour off-peak)

  20. On Compuserve, the best area to discuss this is probably
  21. IBMNEW/Gen_Fun_and_games. However, due to financial reasons, the
  22. author probably won't be able to log onto CI$ more than once or
  23. twice a week, so urgent messages should be sent to him at the CIX
  24. address (mail to '>INTERNET:psmithb@cix.compulink.co.uk').

  26. On USENET, the best area is probably rec.games.corewar, as this
  27. seems to be where programming type games are discussed. This
  28. newsgroup will usually be read every day or two (as will mail to
  29. paul@wolf.demon.co.uk).

  31. PASCAL
  32. =======
  33. I'm not a Pascal programmer, so there may be errors/omissions in the
  34. Pascal libraries - I'll be welcome to make any modifications as
  35. necessary. It's hard for me to test these files as I only have access
  36. to TP 5.0 which is a bit out of date...

  38. BASIC
  39. ======
  40. The .BAS and .BI files are for compiled QuickBasic. As I (again)
  41. don't have this compiler I've relied on someone else for these files.

  46. These libraries are all mine, so I'm the one to blame if there's
  47. any mistakes here...
